About My Clients
I work with clients to help them experience freedom in their skin and come to a place of compassionate care and acceptance of their body, regardless of what our culture, the media, and even friends and family, may say/have said. I also help individuals who experience times when they feel stressed, have difficulty coping with the demands of life, work, and relationships, experience more anxiety than is typical for them, and/or feel particularly down about themselves or life.
My Background and Approach
I am trained in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Interpersonal Psychotherapy. I have specific training in working with individuals experiencing disordered eating, binge eating disorder, body image concerns, depression, and anxiety. Treatment is a collaborative effort: I bring the research evidence and clinical expertise, and you bring the knowledge of yourself, lived, personal experience, and therapy goals. Together we will work to establish a treatment plan to meet your needs. Compassion and empathy are the hallmark of my relationship with my clients. I am for you. My goal is for you to thrive in all the ways that you were uniquely created to thrive, and I want to empower you to get there!

Science, individualization, compassion, and empowerment are the foundations of my practice. I am a weight-neutral therapist and believe there is health at every size.
