Hi, my name is Vee. I work with people from many different backgrounds & ages from 18 to end-of-life. I have special interest in Spiritual Seekers, Indigenous Peoples, Young Adults (18-30), Elders, Sex Workers, BDSM Kinksters, Polyamorous People, LGBTQIA+, Healthy Relationships & Sexuality, Higher Education & Early Career, & Psychedelic Integration.
My Background and Approach
Empowering, educating, & supporting people in their wholeness is what I do. As a Holistic Psychotherapist, I blend EFT, Somatic Therapy, Parts Work, Energy Psychology, & Solution-Focused Therapy with a Humanistic, Transpersonal, & Positive Psychology approach. My personal lens is trauma-informed, compassionate, & animistic. I won't pretend I have all the answers for you, because I don't- you are the world's foremost expert on you. My job is to get to know you, reflect your power back to you, & collaborate on what you feel your mind-body-spirit system needs right now. It would be my honor to support & empower you on your journey through this world.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My cultures are so important to me. I believe that forced assimilation & disconnection from earth & homelands are a foundational cause of collective suffering. I am a US born, native speaker of English, with Irish, Hungarian, French, & English ancestry, and I've been nourished by the lands of the Munsee Lenape peoples & the Oneida peoples. I was raised Protestant Christian with some Catholic influence. I've been an Animist since birth. Tibetan Buddhist & Vedic wisdom speak to my soul. I trained in Shamanism for 6 years, & carry Druidry in my bloodline. As a healer of self & others, my wellspring of medicine draws from evidence-based Western modalities & somatic embodiment & healing, Mindfulness & Eastern wisdom, energy medicine, & multicultural ancestral & earth-based healing practices.
