About My Clients
Overthinking everything? Tired of people-pleasing? Trying to figure out who you are while everyone has an opinion? Maybe you're holding it together, barely. Or maybe you're ready for something to change. I work with teens (12+), young adults, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, identity, relationships, and all the messy stuff in between. Therapy doesn't have to be stiff or awkward. We can have real conversations, laugh a little, and figure things out together. Come as you are.
My Background and Approach
I'm a pre-licensed therapist under supervision at Mind Body Knox and a graduate student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My approach is warm, collaborative, and rooted in genuine human connection. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role isn't to tell you who to be, but to help you better understand yourself and discover what feels right for you. I draw from person-centered, narrative, and solution-focused therapies, incorporating mindfulness when it fits. I'm interested in how our experiences shape the stories we tell ourselves and how we can begin rewriting the ones that no longer serve us. Therapy with me isn't about having all the answers. It's about curiosity, compassion, growth, and creating space for you to show up exactly as you are.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone deserves to feel safe, seen, and valued for exactly who they are. I'm a passionate LGBTQIA+ ally, mental health advocate, and believer in the importance of equity, inclusion, and access to affirming care. I believe our identities, experiences, and stories matter, and that no one should have to shrink themselves to belong. I'm also a big believer in personal growth, breaking generational patterns, and challenging the expectations we've inherited about who we're supposed to be. I value curiosity over judgment, connection over perfection, and compassion over shame. Outside of therapy, I'm a creative soul, lifelong learner, mom, and lover of nature, art, and meaningful conversations. I believe healing isn't always linear, growth can be messy, and humor absolutely has a place in the process. Above all, I believe people deserve the freedom to define a meaningful life on their own terms.
