About My Clients
I work best with those navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, family dynamics, and the pressures of balancing personal needs with responsibilities to others. I welcome individuals who feel overwhelmed, are working through changes, or want to strengthen boundaries, improve communication, and develop healthier relationships. I have a special interest in supporting those navigating co-parenting, blended family dynamics, and changing family relationships.
My Background and Approach
I hold a Master of Social Work and Bachelor of Social Work from Oakland University and an associate degree in Mental Health/Social Work from Oakland Community College. My clinical specialties include individual therapy, life transitions, relationship challenges, co-parenting, blended family dynamics, and family relationship concerns. With over eight years of experience at Oakland County Friend of the Court, I bring a unique understanding of complex family systems and the challenges that can arise during separation and family change. My training includes Motivational Interviewing, Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), implicit bias, and domestic relations mediation. I use this foundation to help clients strengthen boundaries, improve communication, and navigate change with greater clarity and confidence.
