About My Clients

Do you sometimes feel like life is just too much? Maybe school, work, or family stress leaves you frustrated, anxious, or down. I get it. You’re not alone, and you don’t have to face it by yourself. I work with kids, teens, adults, and families navigating ADHD, depression, life changes, or school challenges. Together, we’ll explore practical tools, coping strategies, and mindful approaches to help you feel seen, understood, and more in control of your life.

My Background and Approach

I’m a TF-CBT certified therapist with experience supporting kids, teens, adults, and families through ADHD, depression, school stress, and life transitions. I know how overwhelming it can feel when emotions take over—when sadness, frustration, or worry make it hard to focus, connect, or even breathe. In our work together, you’ll gain practical tools to calm your mind, regulate your emotions, and navigate challenges with more confidence. I focus on creating a safe, compassionate space where you feel truly seen and understood. Together, we’ll explore strategies you can carry with you anytime, helping you feel more in control, resilient, and capable of facing life’s ups and downs. My goal is for you to leave each session with skills that empower you long after we’ve met.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that everyone has the capacity to grow, heal, and change at any point in their life. Many mental health challenges develop from learned patterns, which means they can be unlearned and replaced with healthier coping strategies. I’m passionate about supporting clients through these changes in ways that feel empowering and compassionate. I specialize in animal-assisted therapy and can provide equine-assisted psychotherapy, and on occasion, my adorable co-therapist, my Holland Lop bunny Etta, joins sessions to bring comfort and joy. I’m especially passionate about supporting mothers during the postpartum period, helping them know they are not alone, and I am committed to advocating for and working with minority communities. I strive to create a safe, inclusive, and nonjudgmental space for all clients, where you feel supported, understood, and empowered to navigate life’s challenges.
