Insight oriented, humanistic therapy in Berkeley

Associate Professional Clinical Counselor in Berkeley, CA
Supervised by Danielle M. Herrera, LMFT

About My Clients

I work with clients facing difficult life transitions, uncertainty, and serious mental health challenges. Much of my experience has been with high-risk clients stepping down from acute care, including those struggling with severe depression, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, OCD, bipolar disorder, and other complex concerns. I also work with people who simply want a thoughtful, honest space to talk, gain perspective, and be challenged.

My Background and Approach

I work with individuals, families, and couples in person in Berkeley and via telehealth across California. I meet you where you are, whether you are going through one of the hardest moments in your life or feeling like you need support moving through this period of your life. My practice is oriented in psychodynamic and humanistic principles. In session, we will explore the ways that your past and present experiences shape who you are as a person, whether that be family dynamics, trauma, your work, or relationships. My style is conversational and relational; I value authenticity and real connection. I also believe in the power of positive thinking and humor, and value those who want to laugh and feel good about themselves while also working through the tough stuff.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
