About My Clients
My dream clients are people who know life isn’t perfect but want to figure out how to make it feel a little lighter. You might be juggling stress, identity questions, or just wondering why ‘adulting’ feels like a full-time job. You don’t need to have it all together, honestly, who does? You just need a willingness to show up and explore. If you’re open to reflection, growth, and maybe even laughing at the mess along the way, we’ll be a good fit.
My Background and Approach
I became a therapist because I believe in the power of truly feeling heard, not just listened to, but deeply understood. I support individuals working through anxiety, grief, and identity exploration by creating a welcoming space where you can bring your most authentic self. My approach is person-centered, collaborative, and always rooted in cultural humility. I’ve worked with children, youth, adults, and families, blending talk therapy, CBT, and a touch of creativity—sometimes even art—to help ideas become felt experiences. You don’t need to have it all figured out to come in. Whether you're navigating a tough transition, questioning your identity, or just carrying grief you can’t shake, we’ll sit with what’s real for you. I’m not here to fix you but to walk alongside you as we explore what brings you ease, clarity, and connection. Therapy with me is grounded, caring, and real and maybe a little playful, if it feels right. If you’re ready to be seen, understood, let's start the call!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should feel like a safe place where you don’t have to perform, hide, or pretend. I believe everyone has the ability to heal and grow when given the right support and tools. Our struggles often come from patterns we picked up, sometimes for survival, that no longer serve us. That means those patterns can also be unlearned and reshaped into healthier ways of living. I know from my own journey that facing pain and identity questions takes courage, but it also opens the door to clarity and resilience. I believe in laughter as much as honesty, therapy doesn’t always have to feel heavy for it to be meaningful. I value cultural humility, curiosity, and making space for the fullness of who you are. I don’t judge where you’ve been or how you’ve coped; I see your effort as a sign of strength. And for the record, I believe boba tea counts as self-care, and I won’t argue otherwise.
