My Background and Approach
Kenneth “Ken” Brown, LCSW is a clinical social worker licensed in the state of Texas. Ken decided to pursue a career in mental healthcare after learning how to cope with his own mental health issues in a healthier way. He truly enjoys working with people to help them improve their life and helping them obtain the tools they need to get them back to leading happy, healthy lives. He is a person-centered, solution focused therapist, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, DBT and ACT techniques as foundations for treatment, and currently sees patients via telehealth. Ken accepts most insurance plans, and provides therapy relating to conditions and circumstances including anxiety, relationship issues, and stress. For patients who struggle to find success through traditional treatment methods, Heading also offers specialized treatments such as Intramuscular Ketamine, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, and Spravato in-clinic.
