About My Clients
Sometimes we find ourselves facing challenges or changes that are overwhelming, leaving us not sure how to move forward. These transition points in life can often be confusing, lonely, and downright painful! Whether you are going through a crisis/transition of faith or values, finding yourself in a stressful place in your relationship, or going through other difficult transitions in your life, I am here to walk with you as you navigate the stressors, grief, and excitements of the unknown.
My Background and Approach
I use a number of research-based tools to help you better manage stress in your life and to help you strengthen your relationships. Through our work together, we might spend time talking about what's going on in your brain and body when you feel anxious and stressed and work on skills for creating relief. Depending on your needs, we might explore the ways that beliefs and past experiences impact your current stress levels and might work to help you find clarity around your life's values and aspects of life that bring you meaning. I approach our work through a relational lens, working to help you feel valued, heard, and safe to be yourself. I'll get your feedback throughout the process to make sure we are on the same page and meeting your needs.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that strong relationships are crucial to our well-being. We all have the capacity to create and maintain the kind of strong connections that help us to feel safe and secure and that help us to feel more comfortable in our own skin. While we all pick up habits and beliefs that can create distance in our relationships, we can learn to work through these and create stronger attachments than ever. I strive to create an environment where individuals from all backgrounds, belief systems, ethnicities, and sexual orientations feel safe and welcomed.
