About My Clients
I work with adults, new parents, and young children navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, transitions, and emotional dysregulation. I specialize in perinatal mental health, guiding families through pregnancy and postpartum challenges. Many of my clients identify as BIPOC or come from diverse backgrounds, seeking a culturally responsive space where their racial and systemic identities are deeply understood, respected, and integrated into their healing journey.
My Background and Approach
My clinical approach is grounded in the philosophy of meeting you exactly where you are. Because no two individuals are identical, I blend evidence-based interventions to match your specific rhythm and goals. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to manage intrusive or unhelpful thought patterns, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you accept difficult emotions while moving toward your core values, and a deeply compassionate Person-Centered framework. When working with young children, I transform these evidence-based concepts into age-appropriate, behavioral, and emotional regulation strategies utilizing play therapy interventions. Together, we build a practical toolkit that honors your unique pace and lived experience.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I firmly believe that you are the ultimate expert on your own life. Therapy is a collaborative partnership. I believe that mental health struggles are a natural human response to overwhelming environments, life transitions, and systemic pressures, not personal failures. Your identity, your culture, and your unique story matter here, and I am honored to walk alongside you as you discover your own capacity for resilience.
