My Background and Approach
I have experience helping individuals explore the themes in their lives that create self-doubt including identity, navigating life transitions and relationships with others. Using a person-centered approach and cognitive behavioral therapy as a process to regulate client’s emotions has proven to impact individuals living with anxiety, depression and trauma. As a bilingual therapist (English & Spanish), I have made cultural and impactful connections with clients and provided a space where they can speak both languages as a way to express themselves. In my work I believe it is important to work together to help you develop coping skills, reduce anxiety and stress, cultivate self-love and compassion, and find peace using a strengths-based and person-centered approach. But most importantly our relationship will center on building a better and healthier you as whole- in mind, body, and spirit.
