About My Clients
Your anxiety symptoms continue to worsen and it's getting to the point where you're unable to control the anxiety. You may be getting anxious at the thought of another anxiety attack. You know that they don't last long but when it's happening it feels like it lasts for hours. Your heart is racing, experiencing dry mouth, heart-pounding, your body is heating up, and feeling that you just want to run. I know how difficult it is and I want to help you!
My Background and Approach
I have been working in the mental health field for over 10 years offering therapeutic interventions to clients of all ages and backgrounds including clients who have experienced trauma, struggling with anxiety and/or depression, experiencing difficulties with life transitions, intergenerational trauma etc. I utilized a strength-based, client-centered, solution-focused approach. We will start working on building your toolbox with interventions that can be utilized anywhere. My focus is to provide you with the skills to manage your symptoms and to have several tools to access when needed.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone is capable of making the changes needed to live a healthier, more fulfilling life. I think being genuine is an important factor and when we meet, I want you to feel comfortable being yourself, no matter your background. I also think it's important to remember that your struggles do not define you. I know it's difficult making the decision to see a therapist, but I also believe it is a great decision as we can all benefit from it.
