About My Clients
You are in the family-building phase of your life, and perhaps you are feeling more overwhelmed, anxious or depressed than you expected. We are often unprepared for the difficulties we might face, or how hard the adjustment to motherhood can be. If you are struggling with your emotions, feeling alone, or are yearning to feel more confident in your role as a mom, you deserve support and guidance.
My Background and Approach
I have 17+ years in providing therapy to individuals, and specialize in perinatal mental health. This includes expertise in supporting women with infertility, pregnancy loss, postpartum depression and anxiety, and challenges in parenting. I provide a safe and validating space for women to share and discuss their experiences, and we focus on building coping tools to address anxiety and depression. I am a self-pay practice, which allows me to keep a smaller caseload of clients. This model of business, as well as only specializing with maternal mental health, means a personalized and in-depth approach with my clients. Therapy is a significant investment financially and emotionally, so we are a great fit if you are ready and able to commit to the process. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a fellow mom to two children, which informs how I support other moms. I am passionate about dispelling the myths of motherhood, challenging gendered expectations of moms, and validating that every mother gets to decide how to narrate their own motherhood journey.
