About My Clients
I work with moms, either newly postpartum or grieving or some who stay on with me long after. I find that my clients are individuals who enjoy a more active therapy, where we both work together in session to gain clarity, compassion, and direction in order to work on the challenges you are struggling with.
My Background and Approach
I like to first identify what type of approach might work for you as an individual in therapy. Depending on what you need, we might try to address issues within your thinking, your social patterns and needs, and find a combination of strategies. I received additional training from Postpartum Support International so that I can best support parents during the perinatal stages, such as challenges during conception, pregnancy, postpartum or loss. One area of emphasis in my training was within positive psychology which allows me to focus not only on your pain and symptoms but also towards a live of meaning. I don't just want you to find relief, I want you to find deeper satisfaction in your life.
