My Background and Approach
I am a trauma-informed, EMDR trained therapist with lived experience and a direct yet compassionate approach. I have worked in a variety of psychiatric and community mental health settings, including years in eating disorder partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. I believe that the most important part of therapy is the therapeutic relationship itself, and prioritize creating a secure foundation built on trust and compassion to foster true healing.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that every human has a story to tell, and it is my honor to provide a space for my clients to be vulnerable in telling theirs. My work is grounded in social justice and dismantling systems of oppression. I am Health at Every Size (HAES) aligned, fat positive, gender-affirming, supportive of the LGBTQ+ community, sex-positive, and committed to anti-racism.
