My ideal client is someone who wants to bring the hard things with them. Someone who wants to confront their past challenges head on with fear but also with courage. Someone who is open to challenge, comfort, compassion, and humor. I specialize in neurodivergent, LGBTQ, and BIPOC folks with the unique issues that face them
My Background and Approach
I am a LLPC that uses somatic, mindfulness, DBT, and grief therapy techniques to help with connecting brain and body. My goal is to work with through things with you with care and compassion. I am trauma informed, neuro-divergent affirming, racial justice and apart of LGBTQ+ community.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that society has made us think that we are not enough that there's something wrong with us that needs to be addressed. I believe that we carry the trauma of previous generations within our bodies and minds especially as people who live in the intersections of society. I believe that you should be able to bring your full self into therapy your race, sex, sexuality, disability and other intersections are all a part of your human experience that should be expressed in therapy. I am a Black, lesbian who believes in feminism, abolition, and freedom of all oppressed people. I'd love to discuss more about my beliefs and yours!
