About My Clients

My ideal client is someone who is motivated to understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and is ready to actively participate in the therapeutic process. They may be struggling with anxiety, depression, or stress-related challenges, and are seeking practical tools to create meaningful change in their daily lives. They are open to exploring how their thinking patterns influence their mood and actions, and willing to challenge unhelpful beliefs in a collaboration.

My Background and Approach

With a background in mental health counseling, my approach is rooted in trauma-informed care and guided by a deep respect for each individual's unique story. I use an integrative blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and person-centered therapy to help clients explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors in a safe and supportive space. My work focuses on fostering long-term growth, emotional resilience, and meaningful self-understanding. I also offer compassionate support for individuals facing substance use challenges, recognizing the complex interplay between addiction and mental health. I work with clients across a wide range of ages and life stages, tailoring treatment to meet each person where they are while empowering them to move toward healing and lasting change.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

At the core of my practice is a deep commitment to creating a safe, affirming, and inclusive space for all individuals. I am a proud advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, body positivity, and the right for everyone to feel seen, heard, and valued just as they are. I honor the diverse identities, backgrounds, and beliefs my clients bring into the room—including religious and spiritual traditions—and I approach each person with respect, curiosity, and compassion. I believe healing happens when people are free to express their authentic selves without fear of judgment, and I strive to walk alongside my clients with empathy, cultural humility, and unwavering support.
