Whether it's trauma, anger management, codependence, isolation, suicidality or something else - you and I can tackle it together. Facing challenges in the safe container of the therapeutic environment helps build resilience to face whatever life tosses your way.
My Background and Approach
I am formally trained in DBT and CPT with a background in psychodynamic theory. My clients effectively tackle symptoms seen in PTSD and BPD such as panic attacks, self-harm, suicidality, angry outbursts, interpersonal conflicts, and problems with identity. Together we will identify your life worth living goals and healthy outlets for expression.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My therapeutic work is deeply influenced by the belief that the personal is political. How can we ever hope to find connection with each other in a country whose main political strategy is division among the masses? How can we find personal success when our government leader's tools for success are racism, transphobia, homophobia, sexism, and xenophobia? How will we find freedom in a world deeply intrenched in capitalistic ideology? I'm an active fighter for a future that looks drastically different than our past. I do this for my clients, and I do this for myself.
