About My Clients
Life after trauma can feel like a constant balancing act between meeting others’ expectations and honoring your own needs. I help women untangle the patterns of people-pleasing, rebuild self-trust, and reconnect with their authentic selves. We’ll explore your story and create a path toward confidence, clarity, and empowered living.
My Background and Approach
I practice a trauma-informed approach to therapy, which puts your sense of safety at top priority within the session. We'll look beyond just your symptoms and behaviors themselves, and explore what purpose they may be serving and the deeper experiences or emotions that may be driving them. Doing so often offers both relief and empowerment in the present.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I ground my work in feminist and relational values, believing that healing happens not only within us but also in the context of our relationships and communities. I support causes that uplift women, mothers, and marginalized voices, and I’m committed to helping clients move from self-doubt and burnout to resilience and self-empowerment. My practice is informed by a belief in equity, authenticity, and the importance of honoring each person’s lived experience. Outside of therapy, I'm an active member of Farmington Hill's Community Health Commission where I regularly advocate for the needs of women and their children.
