About My Clients

I work best with clients who feel overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. Many of the clients I support are high-functioning, thoughtful people who are used to holding it together on the outside while feeling exhausted or disconnected on the inside. They may be navigating the effects of past experiences, perfectionism, or major life transitions and want support that feels practical and compassionate.

My Background and Approach

I am a Doctor of Professional Counseling and Licensed Professional Counselor with nearly a decade of experience in the mental health field. I have worked across outpatient clinics, residential treatment, and private practice, supporting clients navigating anxiety, trauma, and major life transitions. My clinical background allows me to provide evidence-based care that is responsive, thoughtful, and tailored to each client’s needs. My work is trauma-informed and person-centered, with a collaborative focus on healing. I work with clients to understand patterns, strengthen coping skills, and reconnect with what feels meaningful in their lives. Therapy is paced to you and grounded in respect, safety, and trust. Clients often value a space where they can slow down, feel heard, and begin untangling long-held stress or emotional weight without pressure to have everything figured out. The goal is to support lasting change and help you move toward a life that feels more balanced and connected.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe therapy works best when it is grounded in safety, trust, and genuine human connection. Healing happens when people feel respected, understood, and supported rather than judged or rushed. I view clients as capable, resilient individuals who already possess strengths, even when those strengths feel out of reach. As a counselor, I believe meaningful change comes from collaboration and choice. Therapy is not about fixing someone, but about helping them better understand themselves, develop insight, and make intentional changes that align with their values. I prioritize a trauma-informed, person-centered approach that honors each client’s lived experience while supporting growth. I also believe therapy should feel hopeful and accessible. Clients do not need to have everything figured out to begin. My role is to walk alongside you, offering guidance and support as you work toward greater balance, clarity, and a life that feels more connected.
