About My Clients
Are you wanting to improve yourself or your situation, but don't know where to start? Have you been coping in your own ways, but are looking for different or more effective options? I work with my clients to empower them to reach their goals and thrive. I enjoy working with those struggling with depression, anxiety, work problems, ADHD, life transitions, boundaries, self esteem, and more.
My Background and Approach
My experience in inpatient, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient settings have shaped my use of diverse styles of therapy. I most often use Accelerated Resolution Therapy, solution focused, psychoeducation, parts work, trauma informed, and mindfulness- individualized for each person. You are in control of your journey to healing. My role as a therapist is to support you through that journey. I bring my authentic self to the session. I often provide feedback- if my mouth doesn't say it, my face will.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe how we interact with and experience the world is influenced by many factors- past experiences, medical conditions, race, ethnicity, culture, religion, appearance, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, gender identity, and neurological make up, etc. As a neurodivergent bisexual white presenting mixed cis woman in a heterosexual presenting marriage, I recognize the impact of intersectionality. In my free time, I enjoy exercising and reading fantasy and sci-fi.
