Accepting Clients

We all have parts of us we wish would just go away. Instead of pushing them down, we will go towards them and offer them a different way.

About My Clients

My clients are self-aware and can tell you exactly what's wrong and still feel stuck. There's a part holding everything together, one on autopilot, and one exhausted from both. They beat themselves up for reacting in ways they promised they wouldn't. When I offer a different way (less discipline, more curiosity) something in them relaxes. It feels strange at first. But I've seen it shift people in ways years of trying harder never could. Myself included.

My Background and Approach

I focus on 3 hour sessions and multi-day intensives because healing requires momentum. This model allows us to bypass the small talk of the conscious mind and stay with your system long enough for protective Parts to feel safe. We achieve in days what typically takes months, providing the space necessary for profound unburdening and integration. I offer individual weekly therapy in 60, 90, 120 minute formats. I also offer couples counseling and group therapy because healing doesn't happen in a vacuum. Our parts transform when in community with others. My work is rooted in Internal Family Systems (IFS). I view you as a complex system of Parts, not a list of symptoms. My integrative approach helps you move from being led by reactive "Managers" to living from Self-Leadership. I am IFS-Trained (Level 1) and have completed basic training in EMDR. I have completed CEUs in IFS-informed group therapy, couples counseling, and somatic experiencing.

More About the People I Treat

I believe that the parts of you that are hardest to love are usually the ones that worked the hardest to protect you. That's not a clinical observation, it's something I've come to understand personally, as a parent, and in my own work on myself. I work best with people who are self-aware enough to know something needs to change but have hit a ceiling. Coping strategies don't feel like they are working anymore. You're tired of talking about it and want to feel a real shift. This work isn't about being a good client. There's no performance required here. I'm not looking for the polished version of your story. I'm interested in the parts that don't make it into the highlight reel. The ones that come out sideways when you're stressed, or disappear when you need them most. If any of that sounds familiar, you're probably exactly who I work with.
