I believe in the power of authenticity and value the courageous journey towards freedom, which can only be found when we let go of who we're supposed to be and embrace who we really are. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, stress, depression, life transitions, negative body image, or disordered eating behaviors, we will work together to leave you feeling empowered, supported, encouraged, and well equipped to create change.
My Background and Approach
I embrace many aspects of body-centered insight and mindfulness/meditation techniques with my clients. I gently guide clients to find meaningful connections between their thoughts, feelings, and sensations in effort to establish connection with the physical body and the self. I also offer Individual Yoga sessions to assist with your therapeutic needs. Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness approaches, and the impact of story and identity, I help clients identify barriers and facilitate their next step of growth. I have experience working with individuals who have disabilities, and I value cultural competency as a vehicle for client empowerment.
