CBT is an evidence-based method focused on identifying and challenging unhelpful thoughts. CBT sessions involve learning about the brain, labeling types of negative thoughts, observing your patterns of thought and behavior, and interrupting those patterns. CBT can help manage issues like performance anxiety, phobias, depression and PTSD.

Everyone experiences anxiety at some point in their lives, but sometimes the worry can feel out of control. If it's hard to stop over-thinking, difficult to control your thought patterns, and you often feel like something bad is going to happen, it might be time to seek support through therapy. ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) can teach you new skills for interacting with your anxious brain and help you manage the uncertainty of life.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is an evidence-based treatment which emphasizes creating an intentional, meaningful life alongside the existence of suffering. ACT involves learning about your brain, identifying patterns that aren't helping you, and gaining specific strategies to manage over-thinking, stress and worry. ACT also involves learning about your interests, values, and goals so that you can intentionally take concrete steps toward a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

People with OCD often struggle for years without treatment. They are commonly misdiagnosed with anxiety. On average, it can take someone with OCD 17 years to receive the appropriate treatment. I am certified in ERP (Exposure Response Prevention), the go-to evidence-based treatment for OCD. Through ERP treatment, you can learn to understand and break your OCD cycles and patterns, and get back to living life without OCD getting in the way.
