About My Clients

How would it feel to live life without the cloud of anxiety hanging over your head? Imagine being able to enjoy your chosen lifestyle without having constant racing thoughts about the next bad thing thats going to happen. What would be different about you if you had ways to manage that tightness in your chest that comes with little warning? Would things look different for you in your intimate relationships, professionally or with family and friends if you didn't feel so consumed by anxiety?

My Background and Approach

I'm a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate and a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist Associate (I know a mouthful) in my 4th year of professional practice. I'm focused on helping my clients find the success they have within themselves but that may be weighed down with symptoms they've been managing for far too long. I use evidence based approaches that specifically target problem areas common in anxiety, depression, life transitions, relational difficulties, grief and others. In my work with clients I share tools and techniques to ease negative symptoms and give you control of your body and your thoughts. Each client I see is the expert on their story; it's my role as a therapist to help guide the process to further your self reflection, provide you with skills that are proven to work and help you find the answers you're looking for. You can build resilience and strength to reach your goals.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am passionate about creating a non-judgemental and safe environment for you, the client, to feel supported in your healing and self discovery. I believe change and growth is a natural part of life and at times it feels more pressing of a priority. Therapy can be a great way to facilitate change. Being an adult is hard, adapting to daily changes of the coronavirus can be hard, surviving the day to day coupled with mental health symptoms is hard. I can help because I know therapy works and I have been so lucky to see growth and positive outcomes in clients I have served. Let's work together!
