About My Clients

I work with folks who experience anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties (partners, family, friends), codependency, and PTSD and/or complex trauma. I am proud to offer my services to the LGBTQIA+ community, as well as the kink, polyamory, and sex worker communities.

My Background and Approach

I'm a mental health therapist in Augusta, GA who is prone to cussing and loves the outdoors. I'm passionate about providing trauma-informed, compassionate, and holistic care to all people. I believe in the power of an affirming presence and space to help clients to explore challenges, and grow into authentic living. I believe the traditional, buttoned-up therapy we're all used to doesn't suit most folks. I provide a relaxed, welcoming space for us to collaborate, breathe, feel, and move through pain points, and feel more empowered in your life. I see you as a whole person, shaped by your unique experiences and the world around you, including different political and geographic systems you're a part of. You are the expert on your beautiful self. I've been known to use memes, nerdy references, and cuss words in therapy. You're encouraged to do the same. You're also encouraged to fidget, pace, rock, pet your furry friends, or move your body in any beautiful, affirming way you like

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that each person is the expert on themselves, their history, needs, and experience. For that reason, therapy with me is collaborative, and I promise to only gently challenge you at times as part of the growth process. I also believe everyone is capable of conquering the challenges of life and growing, no matter your circumstances. However, systemic and global obstacles such as racism, oppression, and unequal access to resources are real problems, that you may freely discuss with me in therapy. I support actively challenging these systems, while also finding ways to exist happily within them. In my personal time, I make it a point to reach out regularly to state and local government representatives, to call out legislation that causes harm to my clients and our community. I also work as an access point for those seeking gender-affirming treatment, and can provide letters for treatment upon request.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
