About My Clients
I work with people who want to make sense of things that happened to them. Maybe you've experienced an episode like severe panic attacks, mania, or psychosis. Any of these experiences can disrupt your future goals and your personal sense of identity. It can be especially challenging as a young adult trying to figure out career and relationships on top of an unexpected diagnosis. I am here to help you reconnect with your mind and body, so you can return to living a fulfilling life.
My Background and Approach
For eight years, I was rigorously trained at Vanderbilt Psychiatric Hospital specializing in psychosis, Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorders. I am experienced in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Metacognitive Reflection and Insight Therapy (MERIT). I infuse mindfulness skills and humor with all of my clients. My approach is warm and person-centered, while also being extremely targeted and evidenced-based. My goal is to always be non-judgmental and understanding, so you can feel comfortable sharing past experiences that are still impacting you today. My hope is we can build an honest relationship that will help move you forward by learning effective therapeutic skills and building self awareness.
