About My Clients
I work with clients that are wanting to feel differently than the current way they are feeling and are ready to make meaningful changes in their lives. Perhaps, you experienced a traumatic event(s) or perhaps, you are feeling overwhelmed with difficult emotions and just want to feel better. I can help. I'm skilled in assisting people who are experiencing OCD, phobias, PTSD and have a special interest in helping those who had childhoods they are still healing from.
My Background and Approach
I am a certified EMDR therapist and an approved EMDR Consultant in Training. Through inner child work and EMDR therapy and through your inner safety, you can feel how you would like to feel. I am also an ERP and I-CBT provider for OCD. My job as a therapist isn't to give you advice, or tell you what to do, but to walk alongside you in your journey, to the better you that was always there. Even if you were robbed from important pieces of your childhood, you have the capability to heal and through our work together, we can help make that possible. Even if you are struggling with intrusive thoughts and compulsions I can help you feel differently. I offer specialized treatment focusing on OCD, phobias and trauma treatment. This allows me to provide the best care. I am not a generalist provider but a provider focused on these treatment areas. I offer a goal oriented solution focused approach . This allows me to make sure therapy is geared to you and your needs.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
-I am a LGBTQ Ally and I support the BLM movement. I am here, to hear you and help enable that inner sense of safety. I help explore that inner strength that brought you to counseling.
