About My Clients
Do you find yourself feeling irritable, restless, sad or constantly worried. I can help! I am here to listen and help you process the stressors in your life and teach you tools to practice throughout the day to unhook from those unpleasant feelings and focus on feeling confident and happy. Providing individual therapy in-person in Beaverton, OR, and telehealth throughout Oregon, Idaho and Washington.
My Background and Approach
I have worked in several areas of counseling over the past 20+ years, but have found my passion in working with adults with anxiety and mood disorders. I believe acceptance is the key to peace in life. This often begins and ends with self-compassion and understanding who you want be in life and how to live authentically based on those values. I have specialized training in Mindfulness-integrated CBT, Intuitive Eating and ACT.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone can find peace through acceptance & understanding. I work with clients to learn mindfulness to live in the present, gain awareness of thoughts that trigger depression and anxiety as they happen, and ways to manage thoughts to reduce negative emotions.
