About My Clients
I specialize in working with students experiencing educational challenges, whether it be related to learning or social-emotional skills. Parents , you know your child best. Whether you have a gut feeling or your child has a known learning difference, it is disheartening to watch them struggle when you know their potential. Despite hard work, progress may be slow and you might feel uncertain about what to do. Or maybe you’re discouraged and confused after school meetings. We can help.
My Background and Approach
I take a comprehensive, neuro-affirming, relational approach in my work with children and families. All assessments are uniquely tailored to your specific conerns and needs. My experience includes work throughout the state as a nationally-certified school psychologist supporting students from preschool to post-secondary levels across public, charter, private, and non-public school settings. My six years as a special education administrator furthered my compassion for families and individuals seeking answers and support in their educational journey. Having been on both the biological and foster parent-side of seeking answers and support for a child, I understands the complexities and emotions in that process. I have a heart for helping families navigate and understand the complicated and, at times, overwhelming challenges of learning needs within the educational system.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I firmly believe that each individual deserves to know who they are as a learner and how to leverage their strengths to reach their full potential, be empowered to advocate for themselves and to embrace who they are in this world. I aim to help foster growth for diverse learners so that they can become the best version of themselves. My goal is to support kids and families, and transparently help you determine which route may be best so that your child can be understood, valued and supported educationally.
