About My Clients
No one told you life was gonna be this way? You’re wearing a mask trying to balance working and navigating your career, relationships, parenting, hobbies, paying bills, maintaining your home and everything else that is required of you. Underneath that mask, you are struggling and feel overwhelmed with the challenge of trying to be everywhere and everything for everyone. You feel lost in the shuffle, broken, defeated, anxious, and shattered. You question yourself, your value.
My Background and Approach
During my internships and work experience, I have had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of clients in the non-profit and public health sectors as well as in-patient environments. I have worked with adults, children, families, and groups in areas including but not limited to addiction, eating disorders, trauma, depression, bipolar disorders, fertility and women's issues, and personality disorders. I utilize a solution-focused based approach and incorporate an eclectic variation of aspects from client-centered, Gestalt, emotion-focused, trauma-focused, and motivational interviewing to best fit your needs. As a result, I believe that each person is unique and there is not a "one size fits all" approach to counseling. My goal as your counselor is to walk alongside you as you navigate this season of your life and regain meaning, purpose, and fulfilment.
