About My Clients
Whether you are dealing with transitions, exploration of self, or navigating life’s challenges and stressors, I endeavor to arrive at conclusions with you that make sense. Conflict, anxiety, depression, and general stress often hold people back from their goals in life. It takes bravery and conviction to work on the areas that you feel are holding you back or preventing you from living as the best version of yourself.
My Background and Approach
Communication is key to success in therapy and as such, I strive to listen actively and empathetically. My hope is to provide compassionate assessment and therapeutic intervention for individuals, couples, and families. My work has included consultation with children, adolescents, and families challenged by behaviors in the home and community. Some of my favorite work is with families who come together individually and as a system to support each other. My approach is trauma-informed and focused on the strengths of my clients and their environments. I use modalities that match with the needs of individuals. Following obtaining my master’s degree in social work, I was supervised by clinical social workers and mental health counselors before achieving independent licensure in Massachusetts. I have continued training in cognitive therapies (CBT and DBT) and have professional training in EMDR.
