About My Clients
I work well with children, teens, adults, and parents who feel emotionally overwhelmed, stuck in painful patterns, or disconnected from themselves and others. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, parenting stress, identity questions, or major life transitions. I’m especially drawn to clients who have spent much of their lives caring for others while struggling to make space for their own needs, emotions, and sense of self.
My Background and Approach
I am a therapist with a background in child and family work, and I approach therapy through a relational, trauma-informed lens. My work is influenced by psychodynamic and narrative therapy, which means I help clients explore not only current struggles, but also the deeper experiences, relationships, and patterns that shape how they see themselves and move through the world. I have experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families navigating anxiety, emotional dysregulation, relationship difficulties, parenting stress, trauma, grief, identity exploration, and major life transitions. I’m especially passionate about helping clients build insight, emotional awareness, and healthier ways of relating to themselves and others. Clients often describe me as warm, thoughtful, engaged, and easy to talk to. I strive to create a space where people feel emotionally safe enough to be honest, curious, vulnerable, and fully human without fear of judgment.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people heal in the context of safe, genuine relationships, and I try to bring that belief into the therapy room every day. My values as a therapist are rooted in compassion, curiosity, inclusivity, and respect for each person’s lived experience. I strive to create a space where clients feel emotionally safe enough to show up honestly, without fear of judgment or shame. I am affirming of LGBTQ+ clients and supportive of social justice, equity, and trauma-informed care. I care deeply about the emotional wellbeing of children, parents, caregivers, and people who have spent much of their lives prioritizing others while losing connection with themselves. Outside of therapy, I’m a parent, lifelong learner, and someone who values creativity, humor, honesty, and meaningful connection. I understand how messy and complicated life can feel, and I believe therapy should feel human, not cold, clinical, or performative.
