About My Clients
I take pride in my ability to build a strong rapport with individuals within a short amount of time, providing both trust and empathy along the way. My goal is to provide each individual with a safe place to heal from prior experiences and to explore current ones in order to welcome change and growth. Sometimes, therapy can be hard and uncomfortable; however, I am willing to walk with you through this journey to help you transition into being the person you envision.
My Background and Approach
I received my Bachelor degree in Social Work in 2019 from Wayne State University. Also, I received my Master's degree in Social Work in 2020 from Wayne State University. I specialize in working with client's who suffer from SUDs and have obtained my CAADC from McBap in 2021. I have experience working with individuals, groups, providing psychoeducation, case management services as well as performing crisis intervention.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My philosophy of care represents individuality while upholding moral and ethical standards. Care, in the therapeutic sense, should acknowledge the value an individual has to offer and provide services according to the person and their own goals set forth. Every individual has their own values and beliefs, and setting aside mine, I will respect yours in their entirety.
