About My Clients

As human beings that are hard-wired to connect, I know how destabilizing life can feel when we're not feeling connected. I use a integrative attachment and trauma informed approach to help my individual and couple clients to find the secure connections they've been looking for.
My Background and Approach
As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I’m passionate about helping others strengthen the bonds and connections in their most important relationships. I have received advanced training in Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy (EFT) and am skilled at helping couples recover from affairs, address losses of intimacy and connection, strengthen attachment, and adjust to life stressors. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and Somatic Experiencing (SE), which helps those struggling to heal from traumatic experiences, anxiety, and depression. I have in-depth training and over ten years of experience working with survivors of sexual, physical, emotional, and spiritual abuse. I utilize mindfulness and body-based approaches to help clients incorporate compassion and self-acceptance on their journey of healing.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe the therapy relationship should be a safe and non-judgmental place to explore the deepest parts of who you are and who you're becoming. With my clients, I help them understand how their past unprocessed life events create behaviors and relationship patterns that keep them from the life they actually want.
