About My Clients
My clients want to connect to their full selves with clarity but instead feel: burned out from putting others first, filled with worry and paralyzed with uncertainty, pulled toward numbing out for a “break” (alcohol, over working, endless scrolling etc.) We all have a tendency to put others first, but in doing so, we can sometimes neglect our relationship with ourselves. Let me be your advocate and show you a kinder, gentler way to treat the most important person in your life.
My Background and Approach
My training in self esteem, anxiety & addiction means I have the expertise you need & deserve when releasing self-doubt & worry. But at the end of the day, you want to know you’re working with someone who “gets” what it means to be struggling with insecurities and worries, right? I get it because I’ve lived through it too - personally and alongside loved ones. I know that sometimes it’s hard to trust - ourselves, others or the world around us! So when we work together, you won’t just get a trained therapist. You’ll get someone who truly understands what you’re going through. We'll examine what debilitating messages are contributing to the state of internal turmoil you’re experiencing. Then, we work to replace & reparent these messages with healthier, more adaptive messages & skills that will be most effective for you. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
It's essential to land with a therapist that you feel safe, seen and connected to. I believe that's one of the most powerful predictors of therapeutic success! I invite you to ask yourself what qualities, backgrounds, and identities do you feel most comfortable with in this process. To help your journey, here’s a bit more about me: I identify as a white, heterosexual, cisgender, highly educated, liberal leaning female and recovering perfectionist with a Christian background from the northeast. I’m an LGBTQ ally, BLM supporter, an enneagram 2, an Aries, and an ENFJ. I also happen to absolutely love what I do! I feel incredibly honored that my clients allow me to walk with them in their journey of self (re)discovery, and it’s a privilege I don’t take lightly. When working with me, you’ll likely find that my work tends to be rooted in the belief that all humans have worth, value and are intrinsically wired and deserving of love and belonging.
