About My Clients
Many of my clients come to me feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of where to begin. Some are going through big life shifts, others are healing from pain they don’t always know how to name. I work with teens, adults, and families who want to understand themselves more deeply, improve relationships, and grow into something steadier and more whole. Whether it’s anxiety, identity, grief, or family stress, you don’t have to figure it out alone.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, under the supervision of Judy Bou Kheir, with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and national certification. I’ve worked with teens, adults, couples, and families across community programs, schools, partial hospitalization, and private practice. My approach is warm, intuitive, and focused. I draw from person-centered, narrative, family systems, CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and Internal Family Systems work. I believe therapy should feel like a collaborative process, not a performance. My goal is to create a space where your experiences are taken seriously, your values are honored, and real change is possible at a pace that feels respectful to you. I pay close attention to what’s said, what’s not, and what’s showing up in the room, so we can understand the full picture together.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people are more than their pain, and I hold deep respect for the strength it takes to keep going when things are hard. I believe in protecting the dignity of every person and honoring their story without rushing to fix it. I care about mental health access, community healing, and helping people reconnect with themselves in ways that feel true and lasting. I value honesty, boundaries, care, and accountability—not just in therapy, but in how we move through the world. I believe healing happens in safe relationships where we can show up fully without fear of being too much or not enough. You deserve that. I also believe laughter, quiet moments, and being real matter just as much as insight or coping skills. There’s no one-size-fits-all path here. Just a place to start where you don’t have to do it all alone.
