About My Clients
Kelly works with adults and adolescents navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, burnout, or life transitions, including those seeking EMDR therapy. She has a particular passion for supporting women and those in the helping professions. Her approach is warm, collaborative, and personalized, creating a space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported as they move toward healing, greater self-understanding, and meaningful change.
My Background and Approach
Over the past twenty years, I have supported adults, children, and adolescents across community mental health, schools, and adult outpatient settings. I approach therapy with warmth, authenticity, and a deep respect for each person’s lived experience. My work is strengths-based and trauma-informed, with space for lightness and joy when it feels supportive. If you’re interested, my therapy dog, Bowie, may join us too, bringing a little extra comfort and laughter along the way. I strive to create a safe, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where we can better understand what may be getting in the way of the life you want to live. Together, we’ll build on your strengths and develop practical tools that align with your goals and values. I’ll walk alongside you with warmth, curiosity, and compassion as you work toward meaningful change. I hold a Master of Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis (2006) and a B.A. in Political Science from Boston University (2000).
