About My Clients
When's the last time you felt, truly, like you? Do you know who that person is anymore? All of my clients tell me, in the beginning, how lost, alone, and broken they feel. In the process of unpacking the story of who you are, we will reclaim your identity, help you recover from trauma, and reveal the warrior inside you. I promise you - you are so much more courageous and brave than you've ever imagined.
My Background and Approach
I've been in practice since 2009. I'm a licensed social worker, certified life coach, certified nutrition coach, and certified personal trainer. Additionally, I've been a certified EMT since 2003, and have a decade of experience as an EMS professional. In my practice, I have found the constant combination of personal life experience with professional experience, with a heavy dose of common sense, practicality, and reason - and a whole lot of laughter - helps people find their center in the midst of vulnerability, and heal faster and stronger than they ever thought they could be.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe, if we just talked about trauma more, we could heal the world. Everyone has a story worth listening to and holding space for, and when people feel truly heard, the capacity of the human spirit becomes limitless. I've experience this myself, in recovering first from trauma I experienced while working professionally as an EMT, and then in recovering from domestic violence and learning how to be a single parent. To be able to step into my strength and power as a survivor, is such a gift, and it is my deepest desire to help you experience that also. Personally, I love all things hippie dippie - crystals, sage, spirituality - I love it all, and it's a blast to integrate my child into that process. I don't judge or discriminate against anyone, and I love getting to have conversations that contain different points of view.
