I am passionate about helping with and educating others on grief, anxiety management, bettering relationships, and adjusting to life changes. I work with adults, adolescents, couples, groups, and current and former educators.
My Background and Approach
I believe in a multi-faceted and evidenced-based approach to counseling. I strive to meet people where they are and help them set goals for a path forward. No one is immune from experiencing trauma or stress, so it is important to learn the most effective ways to lessen the reaction to triggers.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Everyone is capable of learning how to integrate skills and knowledge to rediscover their best self. It is my goal to collaborate with you to determine the most effective treatment, regardless of theoretical approach. I believe that it is important to determine meaning and purpose to work toward a fulfilling life, as well as the most effective ways to cope with distress. I know that meeting with a new therapist can be anxiety provoking, so it is my mission to make sure that we are a good fit. If for some reason this is not the case, I can provide a referral. The therapist-client relationship is one of the biggest predictors of successful outcomes.
