About My Clients
My current practice focuses on helping adults manage stressors, life transitions, relationship challenges, and the impact of past experiences. I take a trauma-informed and culturally responsive approach, and I aim to create a space that feels both supportive and comfortable. I value being genuine and approachable in session, as therapy doesn’t have to feel overly formal to be meaningful. My goal is to help you build insight, resilience, and practical tools you can use in your daily life.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master of Social Work from UCLA, with a background in psychology from UCSB. In the past, I have worked in child development research labs supporting elementary school age children who faces bullying challenges through problem solving resolution and providing emotional support. In both San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles, I have worked with hospital setting and community agencies, supporting individuals and their family through trauma, grief, and major life challenges. My experience includes working with veterans, survivors of sexual assault, individuals in hospice care, and refugee families adjusting to life in the U.S. These experiences have shaped me into a calm, grounded, and adaptable therapist.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I value authenticity, compassion, and creating spaces where people feel safe being fully themselves. My experiences working with diverse communities have deepened my belief in meeting people with empathy, curiosity, and respect for their lived experiences. I’m passionate about culturally responsive and trauma-informed care, and I believe mental health support should feel accessible, collaborative, and human. I also believe healing doesn’t always have to happen in overly formal spaces. Sometimes growth comes through genuine connection, self-reflection, humor, and learning how to be kinder to ourselves.
