Grief can be an intricate and isolating experience for People Pleasers. The constant desire to please others adds a unique dimension to the tasks faced during the grieving process, often leading individuals to disregard their own needs and emotions. You do not have to navigate this journey alone. Together, we will embark on a compassionate and nonjudgmental narrative approach to address the tasks of grief.
My Background and Approach
In each session, I embody values of unconditional acceptance, curiosity, nonjudgment, and playfulness. I specialize in providing an integrative, holistic, and strengths-based approach to therapy, tailored to your unique needs. Your therapy care plan will use evidence-based interventions from mindfulness-based CBT and DBT, fostering resilience and well-being. I have experience working in hospice and private practice, and in my experience I have seen how grief uniquely shapes people and behavior. I have made it my business to learn as much as I can to help guide others through the grief process in a way that allows us to honor losses while working through the tasks of grief without being consumed by it. After our work together, clients often report a renewed sense of peace, resilience in the face of life's challenges, and rediscovered joy in their lives.
