We specialize in working with young families. Therapists are trained in play therapy, couples, individual and family therapy. We have a dedicated Client Care Coordinator here to walk you through the process of beginning counseling. We are so glad you found us and have taken the courageous step of being here. At Modern Wellness Family Counseling, we know change is hard. We believe in the dignity of every person and that everyone deserves access to high-quality mental health care. We also understand no two people or families are the same. We listen to you and will tailor our sessions to address your unique challenges. We will work together to understand your struggles and address those issues with long-lasting strategies, helping you and your family get closer to the life you've always wanted. So whether you are struggling with an adjustment to a life transition, relationship conflicts, anxiety, depression, or other challenges, you don't have to be alone in this journey.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
All are welcome here. Honoring diversity means involving people from a range of different social and ethnic backgrounds and of different genders, sexual orientations, etc. Inclusion is acknowledging and appreciating the reality and value of diversity, embracing the spectrum of different identities and experiences, and respecting what each person brings to the table. Diversity of thought and inclusion of different perspectives can help us generate new ideas, enhance problem solving, and increase flexibility, creativity, and effectiveness of therapy. It is necessary to acknowledge cultural differences between clients and counselors to gather the critical information necessary for meaningful connection and growth. We welcome folks of all backgrounds, including but not limited to people from groups in need of increased social equity (e.g., racial/cultural oppression, LGBTQ+, people with disabilities). All therapy services are provided to clients on an equal basis.
