About My Clients
My clients are self-aware, introspective adults who understand themselves well, yet still find it difficult to break the patterns they've been trying to change. They may be managing anxiety that won't quiet down, struggling with self-doubt, navigating relational difficulties, or questioning their sense of purpose. They're ready to engage deeply in the work and want to feel more grounded, confident, and at ease in their relationships and their lives.
My Background and Approach
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master of Social Work from New York University and over 15 years of clinical experience, working with adult individuals and couples virtually across New York, New Jersey, and Florida. I bring a steady, attuned presence to every session, creating an environment where you can feel safe, seen, and supported. My approach is integrative, drawing from multiple therapeutic traditions to address the whole of your experience. Psychodynamic work provides depth and self-understanding. Humanistic principles create the relational safety that allows for genuine exploration. Cognitive behavioral approaches offer practical tools for creating real change in daily life. Mindfulness-based practices shift how you relate to your inner experience. Together, they form a process that is both insight-oriented and action-focused.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Mindfulness has been a part of my life long before it became central to my work. In my early twenties, I first encountered therapy, mindfulness and Eastern philosophy and over time came to understand them as deeply interconnected rather than separate pursuits. That integration became the foundation of my worldview and ultimately my practice. I don't use mindfulness merely as a technique or a tool for relaxation. It's a way of relating to experience that I've cultivated personally and now bring into the therapeutic space. What mindfulness brings to this work is a shift that goes beyond the changes therapy alone can create. It changes how you hold your thoughts, emotions, and the stories you tell about yourself. That shift is something I've navigated in my own life, and it's at the heart of what I help clients cultivate in theirs.
