About My Clients
The Child and Family Therapy Center of Denver, LLC specializes in providing therapeutic support to children, adolescents and families in a supportive, non-judgmental environment. We focus on helping families identify goals to improve their quality of life and make sustainable change. At The Child and Family Therapy Center of Denver, we support the CLLI, CES, SLS & CHRP Waivers along with Medicaid/CHP+ and Anthem.
My Background and Approach
We provide INDIVIDUAL & FAMILY counseling, psychiatric care/medication management, expressive therapy (PLAY, ART, MUSIC), and pediatric MASSAGE therapy. Our focus is on serving children and families facing chronic illnesses, developmental disabilities, and other special needs. Due to these specialties, we do not specialize in high-conflict divorces (no reintegration). Our therapists use a variety of effective therapeutic approaches. Cognitive-behavioral, structural and strength-based theories are used for family and adolescent sessions. Individual child sessions utilize expressive therapies including play therapy, music therapy, sand tray, animal assisted therapy and traditional psychotherapy techniques.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
We are open and also provide support to our clients via telehealth for all services during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.
