About My Clients
I have extensive experience supporting individuals and families impacted by complex trauma, domestic violence, substance use, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions. As an expert witness in coercive control, I assist courts in understanding the psychological dynamics of abuse. I utilize integrative approaches including EMDR, ego-state therapy, and trauma-sensitive yoga. I also provides co-parenting counseling and gentle family reintegration services upon request.
My Background and Approach
I originally obtained my Master’s Degree in Social Work at the University of Northern Iowa, specializing in Trauma-informed Care. I specializes in trauma, PTSD, and coercive control. I have dedicated my career to helping individuals navigate the complexities of healing after traumatic experiences. My work is grounded in the belief that healing from trauma is possible when met with compassion, attunement, and evidence-based care. I am passionate about walking alongside individuals as they reclaim their sense of safety, identity, and inner strength.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Originally from a small town in Iowa, I moved to Boston, Massachusetts to pursue advanced training and education in trauma therapy modalities. This journey has shaped both my clinical perspective and my passion for creating meaningful, lasting change in the lives of those I works with.
