About My Clients

My clients are often thoughtful, self-aware people who have spent years overthinking, people-pleasing, striving, or feeling disconnected from themselves. You may be navigating trauma, anxiety, perfectionism, an eating disorder, body image concerns, or the impact of difficult relationships or religious experiences. You might understand why you feel the way you do but still feel stuck. I help you move beyond insight toward deeper healing, self-trust, and a more authentic relationship with yourself

My Background and Approach

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in trauma, eating disorders and body image, anxiety, and perfectionism. My approach is warm, relational, and deeply curious. I believe therapy should go beyond simply managing symptoms—we can understand and heal the experiences and protective patterns underneath them. I integrate EMDR and Internal Family Systems (IFS) with trauma-informed, somatic, and weight-inclusive approaches. Rather than viewing parts of you as problems to fix, we’ll get curious about how they developed and what they’ve been trying to protect you from. Together, we can process painful experiences, build a greater sense of safety, and create space for new ways of relating to yourself and others. I bring both compassion and authenticity into the room. Therapy with me is collaborative, and there is room for humor, emotion, curiosity, and all the messy parts of being human.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe healing is less about becoming a “better” version of yourself and more about returning to who you are underneath the expectations, fear, shame, and survival strategies you’ve picked up along the way. I believe every part of us makes sense in the context of our experiences, and that lasting change grows from curiosity and compassion rather than judgment. I care deeply about body liberation, intuitive eating, and challenging cultural messages that teach us our bodies need to be controlled or fixed. I’m also passionate about helping people explore spirituality on their own terms, particularly after experiences of religious trauma or high-control environments. Outside of therapy, I love yoga, being in nature, creativity, spirituality, and anything that brings a little more beauty, meaning, or awe into everyday life. I value authenticity and connection, and those values shape the kind of therapist I strive to be.
