About My Clients
Are you feeling stressed about school, work, relationships, or family? Maybe you feel like you're under a lot of pressure or you're dealing with some imposter syndrome. Perhaps you want to explore some things from your past or figure out why you are the way that you are. I'm here to support you as you navigate big feelings, intense thoughts, complicated relationships, and your relationship with yourself. I have experience working with preteens, teens, adults, and couples from diverse backgrounds
My Background and Approach
My approach is rooted in psychodynamic therapy. I'll help you explore your relationships with your past, yourself, and other people while exploring common patterns and themes. We can incorporate play therapy, art therapy, parts work, or even exposures into sessions-- whatever makes sense for your needs and goals. I earned my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University and went on to work in private practice and a partial hospitalization program. I recently moved to Indianapolis from Chicago. I have experience using evidence-based modalities to support clients of all ages and backgrounds.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a multiracial woman of color and first generation American, I realize the importance of representation and mental health care accessibility. I hope to help clients of all backgrounds work towards their therapeutic goals. I believe in supporting and advocating for the LGBTQ+ community, antiracism, and social justice. I try to empower my clients and help them reclaim a sense of agency in their lives.
