About My Clients

My clients are often thoughtful, capable adults who have spent years showing up, figuring things out, and carrying a lot. They come to therapy when grief, anxiety, burnout, relationship challenges, or the realities of midlife leave them feeling stuck or unsure of what comes next. They’re looking for a place to slow down, understand themselves more deeply, and move forward with greater clarity and intention.

My Background and Approach

Therapy should feel like a real, human to human conversation. It’s not just a process; it’s a relationship. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe enough to show up as your full self. I want to know you, not the version you think you’re supposed to be. I’ve been described as a compassionate, down-to-earth, and practical therapist. Because I specialize in relationships, I draw from attachment theory, parts work, Gestalt, ACT, and Humanistic principles. I often use creativity and experiential exercises to help access the deeper parts that keep us stuck in old patterns. One of the most powerful therapy experiences I’ve had was during my own attachment healing work, when I felt a shift from disconnection to connection. It changed my life, and I want to offer that same experience to my clients—to feel their defenses soften as they lean into authentic, fulfilling relationships.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I’ve come to believe that so much of our anxiety, depression, and burnout stems from disconnection—both from others and from ourselves. Therapy, for me, has been a way to reconnect, to better understand who I am, what I need, and how I relate to the world around me. Outside of work, I love to garden, spend time with loved ones, learn about nerdy things like space, and hang out with my dog, Max. These moments remind me how essential curiosity, rest, and connection are to our wellbeing. Professionally, I’m drawn to understanding brain chemistry, attachment rewiring, and how healing happens through relationships. I believe everyone can benefit from having a good therapist. Our relationships shape how we move through the world, and because many of our earliest hurts happen in relationships, healing has to happen there too. Growth can be uncomfortable, but I deeply believe in your capacity to change and to build the kind of connections that help you feel more alive.
