I treat complex trauma and dissociative disorders and work with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, stress, grief, OCD, life transitions, and cancer and illness.
My Background and Approach
With specialized training in EMDR, trauma, ego state therapy, and interpersonal neurobiology, I trust the brain's ability to heal. I work with clients to reintegrate functions of the body and mind, which may be operating in isolation to promote adaptive responses to life and and heal from events in the past that are re-experienced in the present. I work to help clients earn secure attachment and find safety and trust to support health and harmony. I use an attachment-based and somatic approach and also include interventions from mindfulness, nonviolent communication, DBT, CBT, and ACT to build stabilization and create self awareness and growth.
